Overall Project Schedule
Phase 1 (Construction in 2006-2007)
Phase 1 began construction in October, 2006 and will last through October, 2007. This phase includes the following:
Phase 2 (Construction in 2007-2008)
Phase 2 is scheduled to begin construction in August 2007 and last through August, 2008. This phase will include the refurbishment
of Facultative Sludge Lagoon Pond 5, the construction of a new north access road, and the construction of a potable water tie-in to the City of Redding's water supply.
Phase 3 (Construction in 2007-2009)
Phase 3 is scheduled to begin construction in November 2007 and continue through November 2009. This phase will include the refurbishment
of the existing dissolved air flotation thickener (DAFT); construction of a new DAFT; refurbishment of the existing secondary clarifier,
construction of a new secondary clarifier, rehabilitation of the existing primary clarifiers, influent pump station number 1, the existing
headworks, and aeration basin; and renovations to the existing filters.
Phase 4 (Construction in 2008-2009)
Phase 4 is scheduled to begin construction in June 2008 and continue through June 2009. Phase 4 will include the construction
of a new outfall pipeline and building, and expansion of the existing diffuser.
Phase 5 (Construction in 2009-2010)
Phase 5 is scheduled to begin construction in July 2009 through July 2010. This phase will include the conversion of Pond 1 to two wet weather storage ponds,
conversion of Pond 3 to lined facultative sludge lagoons, and conversion of Ponds 2 and 4 to drying beds.
Phase 6 (Construction in 2009-2011)
Phase 6 is scheduled to begin construction in July 2009 and be completed in July 2011. This phase includes the rehabilitation
of the existing aeration basin, construction of a new blower building, and expansion of the chlorine system.

Phase 7 (Construction in 2010-2012)
Phase 7 is scheduled to begin construction in October 2010 and continue through April 2012. This phase includes the construction
of a new administration and lab building, and the rehabilitation of the non potable water.
